About Engaging Dementia
Engaging Dementia is a registered charity providing specialist training for those who care for people living with dementia across Ireland, including in nursing homes, day centres, hospitals, and family homes. Our mission is to strengthen communication, engagement, and connection through education, resources, and community initiatives.
We deliver dementia-specific training for healthcare professionals and carers, including the Sonas Programme, and offer educational support for family carers to enhance everyday communication and engagement. Our work also includes leading community initiatives such as the Irish Dementia Cafe Network and delivering the annual International Dementia Conference, Ireland’s leading dementia forum.
