Dementia Inclusive Communities

In March, the Dementia: Understand Together team launched their “Dementia Inclusive Community” symbol which was developed together with people with dementia, carers, partners and champions and which connects all the many inclusive activities and services across the country and visually represents solidarity with people with dementia and their families.

The aim now is to ensure that the symbol is visible in our communities. We would like to encourage everyone is our communities to use the window stickers, badges and posters to send the important message to families, friends, visitors, members, colleagues and customers across the country that people with dementia are welcome and supported.
